Product Review: Harvest Box

Hi Everybody! I hope you had a fantastic weekend.  I certainly did! I had a great time at my friends 30th birthday on Saturday and then on Sunday two of our closest friends in the world had a beautiful baby boy who I get to meet and have snuggles with this afternoon - I'm just a touch excited!!

Now...back to the original reason for this post, which is waaaaaay overdue I might add.

About a month before my wedding I was approached by the lovely Meghan over at Harvest Box to see if I'd like to try one of their little boxes of nibblies!

Basically you go to the Harvest Box website and "rate your nuts" as to what you prefer and Harvest Box will then create a box of tasty treats to suit your choices at $7.95 a pop.

Now to be honest...I'm not a huge fan of eating mixed nuts, seeds, dried fruit etc so I probably wasn't the best person to try this out.  However Marty loved every bit of my Harvest Box.  He loves to take containers of mixed nuts to work to snack on at crib time.

In my Harvest Box I had:
"Bears Picnic" - Canadian maple cashews which are cashew nuts with a crunchy maple syrup crust on them
"Cradle Mountain" - Roast almonds, cashews, pepitas, cranberries, sunflower seeds and walnuts
"We Love Nuts" - Roast almonds, brazil nuts, roast cashews and roast peanuts
"HB Super Mix" - Roast almonds, white chocolate, cranberries, dried pineapple, macadamia, pistachios, pepitas and sunflower seeds

My fave was definitely the HB Super Mix which surprised me because as I said I really dont like dried fruit and this one had the most in it, of course little chunks of white chocolate could fix anything in my books!  Marty of course loved everything.   I also enjoyed the Bears Picnic, the crunchy maple syrup coating on the cashews was delish!

All in all I was quite happy to sit and read blogs and munch on the treats in my Harvest Box, whilst swatting Marty's big man hands away from it haha!

I also have to say that Meghan from Harvest Box was just lovely!

Are you a fan of the ole "trail mix" type of snack?

xx

p.s please note that all opinions in this post are my own and the only payment was to be sent a box of tasty treats to munch on whilst I type away at my lil ole blog.
