My own personal stylist!

Hi Everybody! I thought I'd put up some piccies of the styling of the reception of our wedding.  Now please excuse the quality of the pics, they are all off my iPhone (as per usual!).

I have to thank my ah-mazing sister Trish.  She was like having my own personal stylist even though she started her new job the week before the wedding.  But before that she spent hours trawling shops and online stores for me looking for all the right stuff!

I sent her some inspiration pictures of what I wanted and within the hour she had designed my centerpieces.

EVERYBODY pitched in the day before the wedding, we even had the groom and groomsmen tying chair covers.  We actually went thirds with 2 other couples and purchased the chair covers.  Its a fantastic idea and saved us a lot of money...although I'm now trying to work out how to get them cleaned without it costing me a bomb...I'm hoping I can put them in my washing machine and then hang them on airers inside without them being damaged so that they can be used at the next wedding...so any tips would be greatly appreciated!!!

My parents bought this lovely signature mat for us and had everybody at the wedding to sign with a metallic silver pen and we will then have the group shot of all the guests printed to put in the middle.

I LOVED my centerpieces!

I spent a very long time trying to find starfish...you wouldn't think it would be that hard! and an even longer time making pom poms!

Our treasure chest was actually made by the lovely mother of one of our groomsmen.  Her son has been Marty's best friend since kindy and she has been like a second mother to him.  She did such a beautiful job!

These are the only pics I have of our cake so far but it was delish! You can never go wrong with good ole chocolate mud ;-) My little nephew Harry had several pieces on the night and I then had a phone call the next day asking if I could drop some around to him because he hadn't stopped talking about it. Now that's a boy that loves his cake!
